Keep Albany-Dougherty Beautiful held their annual luncheon Thursday for their volunteers in the community.

Officials with KADB said the luncheon is not necessarily about celebrating the accomplishments of the organization, but more about thanking their volunteers.

At their Stash the Trash event they had over 1,000 volunteers and at their Rivers Alive event they had another 100. Officials stressed how important it is to keep the community clean so businesses and industries will want to come to Albany.
