Gearing up for the real world, that's the message Thursday as students and local employers came together for Career Day.
More than 50 Southwest Georgia employers participated in the fifteenth annual Fall Career Fair at Albany Technical College.
Organizers say the Career Fair is a great opportunity for Albany Tech students to speak with employers and learn about various companies and career opportunities.
Marvin Barnes is a first year student at ATC and says, "it gives me a better advantage than waiting to the last minute. If you procrastinate all the time you'll never get anywhere."
The college hosts two career fairs a year, one in the Fall and one in the Spring.
