About sixty people escaped reality and headed to Leesburg for a day of fun.
Jay's Hope Foundation has been around for eight years and provides direct support for children with cancer.
Saturday, these kids visited a local Leesburg farm to escape the reality of their medical battles to enjoy fishing, horseback riding, a Snakes Alive presentation, food and fun.
Foundation founder Cindy Gaskins says, "the emotional support that they receive from each other is just wonderful and such good therapy. They get to meet families and talk the medical lingo and realize that they're not alone; there's other families like them."
Gaskins adds that she's thankful for the folks in the Leesburg community that have come together to put together this wonderful event.
