Is snow rolling into Southwest Georgia again?

Little, if any, accumulation is expected. / Photo: National Weather Service

An arctic cold front will move across the area late Tuesday into Tuesday night ushering in another round of very cold temperatures. Light snow or snow flurries will accompany the front, mainly overnight Tuesday night into early Wednesday morning across portions of southwestern Georgia north of a line from Colquitt to Ashburn. Little, if any, accumulation is expected.

Very cold temperatures are expected after the front passes with lows Wednesday morning in the mid 20s to low 30s and feels-like temperatures in the mid teens to lower 20s. Lows Thursday morning are expected to be in the lower 20s with feels-like temperatures in the mid teens.

Residents are urged to keep abreast of the latest weather forecasts concerning the light wintry precipitation and make preparations for another round of very cold temperatures.
