It was bittersweet Wednesday at the Southwest Georgia Regional Airport. Movers came to take out all the old furniture, but if you're wondering where it's going, it could end up in your living room. The airport surplused all of the city-owned property at the old terminal to other city departments. Airport officials add if there is any property left over, their materials management department will put it out to the public for bid. Airport Director Yvette Ahele says they're sad to see all of our stuff go, but they know that other departments need it, so it makes it all better.
