The Albany Housing Authority partnered with several other locations to form a community garden at The Oaks at North Intown which is a CHOICE target neighborhood.

Those that volunteered their time to help plant the garden told FOX 31 they feel like this will make their community look better.

They're putting in four separate gardens full of fall plants, including pumpkins.

The other community partners were SWGA Public Health, O.B. Hine Initiative, Hines Memorial Church, Albany Recreation and Parks, SWGA Project, PPMH Network of Trust, Trumpet of God, and Dougherty County School Police.
