In our Facebook Story of the Day, you wanted to know if Keep Albany-Dougherty Beautiful has a list of events the public can help out at.

Judy Bowles of KADB says the full list of the year's events is online but the upcoming and ongoing events include the Mayor's Call to Service cleaning up blighted areas and the Arbor Day celebration in February where they'll be planting trees.

Bowles says the group makes sure they continue hosting events all year round because volunteering is a beautiful thing that everyone should participate in.

Bowles adds that keeping the area beautiful changes the perception of the town because people are quick to judge after seeing bad things and KADB works to improve the area's overall reputation.
