How to spot a drunk driver
Officers says drunk drivers increase on weekends and nights but especially during the summer.
Corporal Andrew Mckenzie with Georgia State Patrol Post 40 says along with swerving, drunk drivers tend to go below the speed limit to avoid getting caught. He says GSP also looks out for powered headlights and a number of other indicators.
Mckenzie adds that if you do spot a drunk driver don't try to follow them. Try to get a description of the car. He says most importantly to pull over before you call.
