Federal authorities are reminding travelers not to bring guns or any weapons through airport security checkpoints.That's because this year officials with Hartsfield-Jackson Airport in Atlanta say 67 guns have been pulled from carry-on bags.In Albany, airline officials with the Southwest Georgia Regional Airport say travelers with guns isn't a big issue.Yvette Aehle, Airport Director with the Southwest Georgia Regional Airport says, "it's rare that we have to confiscate guns or any weapons here, but if you are caught with a weapon you will be arrested and won't be able to catch your flight."She adds that if you aren't sure what's allowed on a planes and what's not. check out the TSA's website.
