      Hospital offers bonus bucks for new nurses

      Nurses looking for work will soon have an opportunity to apply for a company in need of immediate help.

      The Georgia Department of Labor's Bainbridge Career Center will help Miller County Hospital recruit about 15 nurses and nursing assistants in Bainbridge.

      The recruiting session will take place on Thursday, August 15, 2014.

      From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., the hospital will take applications for registered nurses (RNs), licensed practical nurses (LPNs), and certified nurses' assistants (CNAs) at the career center.

      Miller County Hospital is a 25-bed hospital located in the city of Colquitt since 1957.

      Positions are open at both the hospital and nursing home.

      A signing bonus will be available to applicants for the RN and CNA positions. CNAs will help patients at the hospital and its nursing home with health care needs under the supervision of RNs and LPNs.

      All applicants must bring copies of their current license and resume and be appropriately dressed for interviews.
