Albany State University will be hosting its homecoming weekend, and local businesses are stepping up for returning alumni.
Officials with the Albany Convention and Visitor's Bureau say multiple businesses around town have brought signs and banners to welcome home the former Golden Rams.
The weekend is one of the biggest for our local economy, and those with the ACVB say making sure those coming into town feel welcome is vital to the events future success.
Currently 'Merry Acres, Drafin & Tucker, Deerfield Windsor, Southern AG Carriers, RHC Inc., and the Shoe Box,' have purchased signs to bring in the weekend in style.
