      Starting on November 21st they began giving away four-week supplies of Nicotine Replacement Therapy to all adult Georgia tobacco users 18 and older regardless of healthcare insurance status.

      The Georgia Tobacco Quitline through the Georgia Department of Public Health is offering supplies to help people quit smoking.

      Starting on November 21st they began giving away four-week supplies of Nicotine Replacement Therapy to all adult Georgia tobacco users 18 and older regardless of healthcare insurance status.

      The free NRT's include a four-week supply of patches or gum and they're offered in conjunction with tobacco cessation counseling services.

      Officials with the Georgia Department of Public Health told FOX 31 that quitting smoking is harder than people realize and it's important to provide them with resources and support.

      To take advantage of the free supplies you can call the Georgia Tobacco Quitline at 1-877-270-7867.
