      Graduation comes for Millennium Second Chance students

      28 graduates received their high school diploma through the second chance educational program.

      A graduation ceremony was held Friday at the Mitchell County High School for students who have completed high school through the Millennium Second Chance Education Center.Awards and gift cards were given to those with exemplary grades and performance.28 graduates received their high school diploma through the second chance educational program.The Millennium Second Chance Education Center has been in existence since 2002. Over 600 students have graduated through the program since then.

      Students 16 to 21 are accepted into the program.
