Go Green: Clean air contest

The Clean Air Campaign kicks off Do your share for clean air contest! / Mike Morrison

Keeping our air clean is important because if you didn't already know breathing is not an option!

Helping with the effort of keeping the air we breathe clean is the goal of The Clean Air Campaign Georgia. As part of this effort The Clean Air Campaign Georgia kicked off a great contest for kids they call "Do Your Share for Clean Air". Do your share for clean air is a contest for Georgia students' kindergarten through twelfth grade statewide. Now to enter the contest kids are asked to develop an original comic strip or short video that illustrates how pollution from vehicle emissions is harmful to the air we breathe.

The winners of the contest will be featured on the clean air campaign's website, social media channels and printed materials. In addition to that monetary donations will be made to each winner's school.

Educators, parents and students who are interested in this contest can visit the website to find out all the information needed.

This contest is a great opportunity to bring awareness to keeping our air clean and showcase you talents through illustration or video.
