Getting muddy at the 2nd annual Dirty Devil Dog Mud Run

The three races consisted of-an individual competitive race, a four-person team competition, and finally the fun run for the last event. / Jon Benson

The Marine Corps Logistics Base here in Albany held their second annual 'Dirty Devil Dog Mud Run" over the weekend.

Marines and civilians from all over came to participate and get muddy.

The goal of the event was to provide a fun and wholesome athletic event for both military personnel and the local community.

This year however is a little different than the last. Instead of a single racing event, the Marines threw in a little twist by adding two more events, topping out at three for the day.

The three races consisted of-an individual competitive race, a four-person team competition, and finally the fun run for the last event.

With the great turnout and response from the community be sure to look for the fun next year, in case you missed out.
