      Georgia Bureau of Investigation investigating Seminole County deaths

      Investigators say that both men had multiple gunshot wounds and were transported for autopsy to the GBI Crime Lab. Investigators say that there appears to have been some type of altercation at the residence but the other individual's name involved in the altercation will not be released at this time. / MGN Online


      The Georgia Bureau of Investigation say they were requested to assist the Seminole County Sheriff's Office in the death of two individuals that were found in the 5500 block of River Road in Seminole County.

      Officials with the GBI say that the Sheriff's Office had received an emergency 911 call from the residence at approximately 7:00 PM, requesting assistance, and when deputies arrived they found the bodies of 58-year-old Johnny Nathey and 34-year-old Duane Derr, both of Florida, inside the residence.

      Investigators say that both men had multiple gunshot wounds and were transported for autopsy to the GBI Crime Lab. Investigators say that there appears to have been some type of altercation at the residence but the other individual's name involved in the altercation will not be released at this time.

      GBI officials say that the investigation GBI's Regional Office in Thomasville will continue.
