A man has been arrested in the Moultrie murder of 58-year-old Dominga Trejo.
The Colquitt County Sheriff's Office confirms 20-year-old Alfonso Marquez Moore has been charged with murder, aggravated assault, armed robbery, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.
Trejo was found dead of apparent gunshot wounds on Friday in the Regency Village Mobile Home Park. The Georgia Bureau of Investigations believed it was suspicious and opened an investigation that led to the arrest of Moore.
Officials say Moore's girlfriend, 23-year-old Daniesha Renee Bell was also arrested and charged with providing false information to police.
The Georgia Bureau of investigation (GBI) is reporting 55-year-old Dominga Trejo, from Norman Park, was found dead last night in the Regency Village Mobile Home Park in Moultrie.
Trejo's body was discovered just before 10PM Friday night; suspicious circumstances surrounding the death are leading GBI to believe Trejo was murdered.
The Colquitt County Coroner is reporting that Trejo's body sustained multiple gunshot wounds; however no official cause of death has been reported.
