The National Weather Service and local meteorologists are keeping a close eye on a line of thunderstorms moving east across Southwest Georgia Friday morning.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch is in effect this morning for possible strong and/or damaging winds with a line of storms moving from quickly west to east. A brief shot of heavy rain and markedly cooler air will also accompany the line.

The storms will move across Tallahassee between 8-9a. Grab a jacket as you head out the door this morning and keep a close eye on the weather!
