Freezing rain a possibility to end the work week
Light rain may mix with, or change over to light freezing rain Thursday night through early Friday morning in south central Georgia.
It's unclear if, when and exactly how far south the freezing line will make it through south Georgia Thursday night, which accounts for current uncertainty.
There is confidence that the precipitation will be light, which should limit the potential impacts to hazardous driving conditions. (The threat of downed tree limbs and power lines appears low due to the low accumulations of ice).
Any ice that accumulates will melt by late Friday morning as temperatures climb into the 40s.
