      Four charged after Berrien meth lab investigation

      55-year-old Debby Sue French has been charged with possession of substances with the intent to manufacture a controlled substance.

      Officials with the Berrien County Sheriff's Office say that in August, they followed up on information concerning a suspected meth manufacturing location, leading to four arrests.

      During a search of the property on Old Valdosta Road in Nashville, investigators recovered numerous items used to manufacture meth including separated lithium batteries, burnt gas generators, empty pseudoephedrine blister packs, suspected sodium hydrochloride, funnels, empty plastic two liter bottles, and a portable heat source.

      As a result of the search and investigation, Jason Prida, Carlos Prida, Debby French, and Garth Studstill have all been charged with possession of substances with the intent to manufacture a controlled substance.

      The Georgia Bureau of Investigation was brought in to asst in the dismantling of the lab.
