Four apprehended in cold case murder

The Cordele Police Department has made arrests in an unsolved, Christmas Eve cold case with the help of anonymous tips.

Christmas Eve, 2005, Karim Bashir, a Columbia, South Carolina vendor was selling items at the corner of Joe Wright Drive and West 24th Avenue and was murdered.

The Cordele Police Department held a press conference Tuesday announcing that 30-year-old Antonio Brown, 27-year-old Eric Mason, 27-year-old Antonio Glover and 29-year-old Kevin Glover were arrested in connection with this crime.

All four are being held in the Crisp County Law Enforcement Center.
