Former employee charged for taking cash and safe from Austin's Firegrill

Albany police have arrested and charged Bradley Lamar Jordan with burglary in reference to the break-in at Austin's Oyster Bar and Grill Tuesday night.
Bradley reportedly was a former employee of the restaurant who was recently dismissed from his duties.
He is currently being transferred to the Dougherty County Jail for processing.

An Albany business that has been open just over a year has been broken into.
According to Albany police, the suspect forced his way through a window on the west side of Austin's Firegrill located at 2817 Old Dawson Road.
While inside, the suspect proceeded to take $2000 in cash and a cash safe.
A representative from Austin's told police that the suspect unlawfully entered the business and took the money and safe, and that no other items were reported as missing.
Officers say the suspect was wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans along with red and white shoes.
