Flu season is on the way out.
Doctors say this flu season had half the cases that last year had.
There was one death in our district and a total of 52 throughout the state.
"It still continues. We're still seeing a low level of cases but it's nothing compared to what it was in late December and early January," said Dr. Jaqueline Grant, Director of the Southwest Georgia Health District.
The highest number of flu related deaths occurred in people ages 50 to 64.
