Five arrested for drugs on 300
Warwick police made a traffic stop on Highway 300 Saturday night for Failure to Maintain Lane.
The vehicle stopped had a driver and three passengers inside. After the smell of marijuana was observed by Warwick Drug Commander Lt. John Mucci, a search of the vehicle was conducted.
Marijuana and a pipe with marijuana residue was found inside the vehicle.
22-year-old Gerald Nicholson, 24-year-old Robert Fibley and 21-year-old Michael Roper were arrested for Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Related Objects and taken to the Crisp County Jail.
Another traffic stop was made on Sunday afternoon around 2 PM for speeding.
The driver denied a voluntary search and the K9 unit was brought to the scene.
Three grams of marijuana, a grinder with marijuana residue, and two pipes packed with marijuana were found in the vehicle.
The driver, 28-year-old Jace Dennis and passenger 29-year-old Christopher Connor were charged with three counts each of Possession of Drug Related Objects, one count each of Possession of Marijuana.
Dennis was also charged with Speeding and Window Tint Violation. Both were brought to the Crisp County Jail.
