Firefighters expect to get busy night of the 4th

Crews are expected to get busy in the late night hours at the Albany Fire Department but earlier today was a different story.

FOX 31 went over to the fire department this afternoon to see what kind of calls they were going out on and if they were busy. So far they had only responded to two calls but they do expect to get busy.

Battalion Chief Matthew Jefferson said, "this time of year and right now with the fireworks going on we're probably going to have more grass fires because it's dry this year compared to last year when it was wet."
