You can dine with former President Jimmy Carter and Albany native Chef Paula Deen in a night to fight cancer.
The two celebrities will be in Plains August 25 for a casual barbecue dinner and discuss how cancer has touched their lives.
The event is to raise money for the Cancer Coalition of South Georgia's screening program which provides free cancer screenings for uninsured and underinsured individuals in south Georgia.
The event is $150 a ticket and includes a live auction.
It starts at 6 p.m. at the Plains Community Center.
