Farmers visit Southwest Georgia and take home tips
Eight farmers from all over the South came to Southwest Georgia this week as a part of the 2013 National Cotton Council's Producer Information Program.
They visit farms and corporations in hopes of learning how other people run their businesses so they can take home helpful tips.
One cotton farmer from Mississippi told Fox 31 that he came on the trip to learn how to be more efficient.
The group has already been to a farm in Leary and they also plan on visiting Thrush Aircraft before the day is over. They will also get a chance to see farms in Moultrie and Tifton while they are in the region.
