A Logistic Command marine is back on American soil after spending three months in Afghanistan.

The family of Master Sergeant William Woolen greeted him as he made his way on the Albany Marine Corps Logistics Base.

Woolen is returning from Afghanistan where he provided logistical support for the Logistics Command.

As family and others who came to support the marine greeted him, the moment became overwhelming.

"It's surreal. I wasn't really expecting all of this. I'm happy that everybody came and showed their support and I just feel the love that everybody is out here with their arms open to embrace me," said Master Sgt. William Woolen.
