Falcon fever brings boost for bars

The Atlanta Falcons are one game away from making it to the 2013 Super Bowl.

The Falcons are scheduled to play the San Francisco 49ers Sunday and local bars are prepping for the crowds, hoping the influx of people will boost sales.

"Considering that we know they are playing on Sunday, we upped the truck a little bit, making sure we have enough of everything," said Shawn Walters, Owner of Loco's Grill and Pub.

While some bars have a drink maximum, Loco's Grill and Pub doesn't, but that doesn't mean they're not looking out for their customers.

"If we think they've had too much, we will cut them off," said Shawn Walters.

His bar is not the only one in town making sure customers make it home safely. Xavier Marrs, manager for Billy Boys wings, says he also limits people when they've had too much to drink.

Billy Boys opened seven months ago, offering a variety of wings that has drawn in many, but big game days are an opportunity for an even bigger payoff.

"We're looking for it to grow bigger and bigger. I'm hoping that it will be more people," said Xavier Marrs.

As the Atlanta Falcons take on the San Francisco 49ers, both Walters and Marrs say they are rooting for the black and red.
