According to the Moultrie Observer, two Moultrie men were arrested Thursday after forging prescriptions for hydrocodone.
The Moultrie-Colquitt County Drug Enforcement Team was alerted by phone about a possible prescription forgery going on at CVS Pharmacy on South Main Street.
Eldriquez Silas and Teforest Williams were attempting to fill prescriptions for the drug to then sell on the street. The pills would have sold for $10 or $15 each.
Silas and Williams were charged with criminal attempt to possess a controlled substance, forgery and attempting to acquire a controlled substance by forgery or deception.
