      Psychologist Nick Carden warns not to go it alone because the relapse rate for alcoholics is over 50%

      Licensed Psychologist Nick Carden says the first step is realizing that alcohol is a problem.

      He says this is the most difficult step for an addict.

      Carden also says you should let a family member or friend know in order to get help.

      Telling someone who knows how to get that person some support and some proper help because the statistics for addictions alone, the relapse rate is well over 50%, says Carden.
