In our Facebook story of the day, you were wondering about disciplinary action taken with disruptive students on school buses.
Public Information Director with Dougherty County Schools, R.D. Harter says there is a progressive discipline plan where the child will receive a verbal warning the first time they misbehave.
"The next level would be notification of parents, a verbal reprimand, then it will lead onto suspension from riding the bus for a certain number of days, five, ten days," says Harter.
The child could lose bus riding priveledges altogether.
If the child is especially disruptive, the bus driver does have the right to call police on the child.
