Georgia National Guard assists those impacted by Irma
Some Dougherty County residents now have supplies to help them deal with the aftermath of Monday's storm.
The Georgia National Guard passed out ice, water and emergency meals in the back parking lot of the Albany Civic Center.
All supplies were free of charge for residents. The point of distribution was funded through FEMA.
The Georgia National Guard is prepared to give supplies to ten thousand people a day.
In order to pick up ice, water and or emergency meals, Dougherty County residents will need to show a photo ID.
If you still need help, they will be giving out materials Thursday and Friday from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m.
