Economic development improving across state of Georgia

Economic development officials say Albany has everything in place for an industry to thrive / Ashley Knight

The vice president of economic development for the company Electric Cities of Georgia made a presentation to Albany's Economic Development Commission Wednesday.

They talked about how successful the state is in attracting new industry and developing projects.

They even said Albany has everything in place to be a perfect opportunity for any industry.

"The prospects are very encouraged by what they see in Albany. It's really all becomes a matter of timing and do we have the right real estate product to meet the needs of the company,"

The next big event the EDC is working on is the quail hunt coming up the second week of February.
