East Albany holds health fair

Folks could get their blood pressure checked as well as get tested for HIV

Just before the rains came, you could find many out getting healthy in a fun way Saturday.

The East Albany Medical Center held a health fair where folks could get their blood pressure and cholesterol checked, and get tested for HIV.

The kids learned a thing or two about their local fire department as well.

"We've got the fire department, EMS, we've also got Miriam Worthy Women's Health Center which is one of our sister companies and we've got Georgia Healthy Families and Wellcare.

The event lasted until 1:00 p.m.
