      DUI arrest leads to much more

      According to the Cordele Dispatch, the Crisp County Sheriff's Office recently arrested a man in connection to six burglaries that took place in the Lake Blackshear area.

      Owen Black was initially arrested on a DUI charge but was later connected to break-ins where television sets, fishing gear, and other items were stolen.

      The day after he was arrested investigators recovered several items that were not only tied to the burglaries on the river but also in Sumter County.
