The Dougherty County Police Department has arrested a man after finding child pornography on his computer at his home.

Officials say that 21-year-old Christopher Richardson was arrested without incident and charged with six counts of sexual exploitation of a child Monday morning.

Officers executed search warrants on Richardson's home on Lilly Pond Road around 10:45 AM after beginning the investigation on December 11th due to information received.

Investigators were able to find 113 images on the computer before the forensic process began, 91 of which contained child erotica; which is a person under the age of 18 posing sexually or being underdressed, but not classified as pornography. However, they did find six images which met the criteria of child pornography.

Punishment for each image could be a sentence of five to twenty years and a fine up to $100,000.

Richardson is being held in the Dougherty County Jail without bond.
