Dougherty County declares state of emergency
Dougherty County Commission Chairman Chris Cohilas has announced that he has declared a state of emergency for Dougherty County.
Cohilas said that the declaration isn't to cause panic, but to authorize our Dougherty County Emergency Management Agency to be fully prepared and authorized to take any necessary steps that it will need to take in preparation for and/or in response to Hurricane Irma. It is additionally set to help prevent price gouging during this time.
