Donations dwindle at Salvation Army

For the first time in Albany, the Salvation Army is out of clothing donations.

The organization normally is stocked to the ceiling with clothes from charitable Dougherty County citizens, however they're running low at the start of 2013.

Major Kelly English says without those donations it'll be tough for the group to run at full strength.

"If we can't bridge the gap, then we'll have to reduce our services which is the one thing we do not want to's the reason why we're here, to serve the community," said Major English.

Major English says that he hopes the community will rally with donations, just like they've done for the organization in the past.
