Albany police officers responded to a call for a domestic dispute early Wednesday morning at 2304 West Gordon.

According to police, a boyfriend and girlfriend were fighting. The girlfriend, a 39-year-old female, stabbed her 41-year-old boyfriend with a knife in the chest.

Police made contact with the girlfriend and noticed cuts on her arm that she said she received after punching a glass window in her apartment.

Both were taken to Phoebe Putney for surgical treatment of their injuries.

No charges have been filed at this time.
