On Saturday, Mayor Dorothy Hubbard presented the Mayor's Award of Excellence to the residents at Hudson Malone Towers.
The Mayor's Award of Excellence recognized public housing neighborhoods that stand out as quality places to live where residents have shown pride and commitment in keeping Albany clean and a safe place to live, work, and play.
High scores on criterion include the number of households that pay their rent on time, the lack of neighborhood disturbances, and the property's score on the HUD Physical Inspection.
Property Manager Michael Allen says, "it's an honor to be given such a distinguished award."
Thronateeska, William Binns Homes, Lane Landings and Sherman Oaks were the other finalists for the Award.
Hudson Malone Towers has been around since 1983.
This is the buildings third time winning the award.
