Deputies make meth arrest during Lowndes traffic stop

Three people have been arrested in Lowndes County after a traffic stop Tuesday evening.

Investigators from the Special Operations Division of the Sheriff's Office say they conducted the traffic stop on Sermans Road near Lester Road.

During the course of the traffic stop, investigators performed a search of the vehicle and located approximately $1,800 worth of methamphetamine and a small quantity of marijuana from the occupants of the vehicle. They also say that a quantity of Hydrocodone and Alprazolam, both schedule 3 narcotics on one of the occupants.

Johnny Rambo, Bonnie Nix, Danielle Parkinson and George Beckham Jr. were all arrested as a result of the contents found in the vehicle.

53-year-old Rambo, 53-year-old Beckham and 36-year-old Parkinson each face one charge of possession of methamphetamine.

56-year-old Nix is charged with possession of methamphetamine with the intent to distribute, possession of Hydrocodone, possession of Alprazolam, possession of methamphetamine, and possession of marijuana.
