Lowndes County Sheriff's Officials say that on Thursday, June 20, after receiving information from citizens, investigators from the Special Operations Division of the Sheriff's Office executed a search warrant for a home in the 700 block of Azalea Circle in Valdosta.
During the execution of the warrant, investigators recovered a quantity of marijuana, items commonly used in the distribution of marijuana, such as scales and plastic baggies, and stolen street signs that were the property of the City of Valdosta.
20-year-old Michael Lanning, who lives at the home, and 20-year-old Conor Harrison, who resides elsewhere, were arrested and transported to the Lowndes County Jail.
Lanning has been charged with possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute, possession of tools for the commission of a crime, and theft by receiving stolen property. Harrison has been charged with theft by receiving stolen property.
