Deputies feel love, grab some grub during ASU luncheon
Albany State University held their second "Feed the Force" event Friday afternoon at the Crisp County Sheriff's Department.
Deputies were able to enjoy a hot dog lunch and a slice of homemade pound cake.
Members of the Criminal Justice Club were able to interact with professionals in the field they want to be a part of. As an organization based on community service, the members understand the meaning of serving others.
“We give back to our community," said Sarah Kuck, ASU associate professor of political science and executive director of academics at USG eCampus. "It is important to take care of those who take care of us every day."
The theme for the officer appreciation event is “You know you’re loved, come grab some grub “in celebration of Valentine’s Day.
The event is sponsored by the ASU Criminal Justice Club in coordination with the University System of Georgia eCampus.
