Georgia deer hunters can begin taking to the woods this weekend. Deer hunting season has begun. Officials say last year more than 295,000 hunters bagged more than 315,000 deer. But the one thing wildlife officials say is you need to remember when hunting - you must obey the law. Corporal Greg Wade, with Georgia DNR says, "the number one thing is always know what you're aiming at and know that you must wear 500 square inches of arms since it is now firearm season in Georgia."
Deer hunting season runs through January 15, 2014.
