In Monday's meeting, Dougherty County School Board members voted unanimously, in the absence of board member Milton Griffin, to have no teacher furlough days for school year 2014-2015.
The school board voted for next years tentative calendar to have no furlough days but the superintendent will have to set the school budget around the calendar.
This will be the first time in years that the school system has had no furlough days.
For the current school year, teachers had a total of four.
Superintendent David Mosely said in the meeting, the calendar is tentative and subject to change but he hopes they won't have to make any adjustments.
