Dougherty County School Superintendent Dr. David Mosely says he has reached an agreement with Kevin Fretwell, the Westover High School teacher who released documents to the media about grade changes at the high school.

Dr. Mosely released this statement this afternoon:

"I have discussed punishment with Mr. Fretwell and have reached a tentative agreement short of termination. That agreement would have to be approved by the board before becoming official."

In last week's Dougherty County Board of Education meeting, board members went into executive session concerning discipline for Westover faculty involved in grade changes.

Principal William Chunn is forfeiting his pay for five days, while the teacher involved faces five days without pay.

An assistant principal at the school is receiving a letter of reprimand.

The board voted unanimously for the disciplinary measures.
