      Darton State 2013 audit raises concerns

      FOX 31 Media Partner the Albany Herald has learned that a 2013 audit of Darton State College has raised six financial or record keeping concerns at the University System of Georgia.

      The concerns include potential overpayment of $894,00 in federal financial aid to students, time and effort reports not completed properly under federal requirements, restricted funds not being in line with grant requirements, delays on providing 1099 forms to a vendor, salary issues with the college's director of grants, and athletic costs not being properly allocated.
