If you are interested in picking up a new hobby, Darton College has at least one option for you. The school is offering a floral design class as a part of their Continuing Education program.
The class teaches the basics of design, color, texture and patterns for making floral arrangements with fresh cut and silk flowers. It also teaches students how to make bows for the finishing touch on their arrangements
The floral design course started Monday and goes through April 4th. It's held at Darton College's Allied Health Community Services Building next to the Student Center from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.
The class costs $85 plus approximately $50 for supplies.
