      DA seeks maximum sentence against police chase offender

      A man has been indicted for 11 counts of traffic violations after injuring a woman when he led police on a chase May 30th.

      Quincy Smith led Georgia State Patrol troopers through the middle of Albany in a populated area and ended at Slappey Blvd. and Gillionville. This is where he hit Charlotte Inman's car, causing her to suffer a serious neck injury.

      District Attorney Greg Edwards says he will seek the maximum sentence against Smith.

      No trial date has been set for Smith.
